This is the most mouthwatering sandwich when your on a diet it gives you fantastic flavor and fills you up. I will have this for lunch today. I was watching Rachael make this for me this morning and I was overjoyed it was for me. LOL So here’s how she does it.
1 can solid albacore canned tuna drained
pinch seasoning salt (preferably adobe)
juice from a slice of lemon
pinch of dill
1/3 cup dill relish
1 cup shredded lettuce
1/3 cup chopped celery
1/3 cup mayonnaise (Dukes or Hellmans works best)
4 sliced of fresh wheat bread
2 thick tomato slices
2 slices Gouda cheese
In a medium sized bowl first add tuna drained crumble it with a fork, squeeze the lemon juice on it, then add seasoning salt, celery,relish, dill mix this together well then add the mayo and mix the lettuce will be added right before you make the sandwich as not to wilt it. Place the UN-toasted wheat slices on each plate add the cheese and tomato slices to the bread then the tuna mixture. cut the sandwich in two and serve.
